Woodlands 05 (Kuykendahl/Creeks) RX Tech - Pharmacy Tech - Part Time

Location: Tomball, Texas, United States; onsite in a retail pharmacy

Salary: $20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process written and third-party prescriptions through RxEVO, verify patient information, and manage adjudication reviews.
• Perform prescription assembly, controlled-medication hand counts, liquid measurements, antibiotic reconstitution, labeling, and seven-point verification.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, invoices, warehouse and DSD orders, deliveries, discrepancies, and returns to stock.
• Maintain automated prescription equipment such as Kirby Lester and ScriptPro, including calibration, stocking, maintenance, and reporting.
• Coordinate prescription screening, flu shot scheduling, immunization scheduling, and other professional services activities.
• Protect personal health information under HIPAA and support pharmacy standards, compliance reviews, facility upkeep, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• At least one year of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician; three or more years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Active Texas registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), including required continuing education and timely recertification.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy management tasks, RxEVO, pharmacy SOPs, computer systems, mathematical measurements, and prescription processing.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30 pounds or more.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of pharmacy experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
