Trust Operations Distribution Manager (Trust Operations)

Location: Fully onsite in Denver, Colorado at 1801 California Street, Suite 800.

Salary: $89,000–$127,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations for outgoing distributions, cash transfers, asset transfers, rollovers, recharacterizations, and beneficiary processing.
• Supervise processing and quality-control reviews for checks, wires, ACH, ACATS, and outgoing asset distributions.
• Train, mentor, coach, and evaluate staff while delegating work and monitoring workflow.
• Resolve escalated client and operational issues and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Lead projects, maintain desk procedures, and implement workflow and process improvements.
• Monitor regulatory changes, support audits and regulatory examinations, and ensure compliance with bank policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Formal college-level education in business or trust, or equivalent training and experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in Trust Operations.
• At least 3 years of direct leadership experience managing employees in a financial services environment.
• Knowledge of complex alternative-investment transactions, trust accounting systems, and relevant software.
• Strong communication, analytical, time-management, project-management, training, mentoring, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight schedules, and travel occasionally.

• Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) certification.
• Retirement Industry Trust Association (RITA) Self Directed IRA Industry Professional (SDIP) certification.
