Quality Senior Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States; 1st shift

Salary: $110,800–$169,850 per year

What you will do

• Lead and direct quality organizations and provide cross-functional quality integration leadership.
• Establish, oversee, and administer quality processes, policies, best practices, improvement plans, and quality measures.
• Determine quality resource requirements, acquisition needs, and organizational priorities.
• Coordinate with internal organizations, external suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies throughout the product or service lifecycle.
• Develop organizational vision, strategic plans, quality policies, procedures, and prevention measures.
• Communicate, educate, train, and coach customers, suppliers, and internal personnel on quality practices while providing technical expertise.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Quality or Leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of customer relationship management experience.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• Experience managing a budget.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Experience using SAP or MES.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience establishing Quality Management Systems or conducting AS9100 audits.
• Six Sigma Green Belt and ASQ Certification.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment.
• Ability to prioritize requests from multiple sources and support requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and influence outside the organization.
• Self-motivation and ability to take ownership of projects and issues through closure and resolution.
