Stress Analysis Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Perform stress and structural analysis on aerospace components and assemblies.
• Model engines and rotating equipment using industry-standard analysis tools.
• Assess component performance under static, dynamic, and impact loading conditions.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to engineering stakeholders.
• Participate in engineering reviews and recommend solutions supporting design decisions.
• Complete analysis activities in line with project and industry requirements.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in stress, structural, or impact analysis within aerospace or automotive engineering.
• Proficiency with ANSYS for finite element analysis and structural assessments.
• Experience with LS-DYNA for explicit dynamics, impact, or nonlinear simulations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, design data, and technical specifications.
• Strong technical reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience; willingness and eligibility to obtain BPSS clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Abaqus.
• Knowledge of composite material analysis.
• Experience analysing rotating equipment, engine components, or other high-performance systems.
