Associate Director, Quality Improvement (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in Ohio, or within driving distance to Columbus, Ohio; travel up to 20% to hirify.global offices and external agencies in Ohio.

Salary: $115,200–$158,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead quality improvement programs and enterprise-wide clinical quality strategy for Ohio Medicaid.
• Align Quality Associate and Population Health Stream strategies across population groups.
• Drive HEDIS and CAHPS deliverables, performance improvement, and strategies for MPS and QBA measures.
• Oversee Cross-stream Quality Withhold collaboration and vendor and provider engagement.
• Maintain quality documentation, including policies, procedures, committee materials, and program documents.
• Lead efforts to maintain NCQA and EQRO compliance and protect confidential member information.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience working within Medicaid.
• 2 or more years of current or previous leadership experience, ideally leading quality improvement or compliance professionals.
• Experience in healthcare quality improvement or process improvement.
• Knowledge of quality improvement concepts, healthcare data analysis, data mining, population health issues, trends, and health disparities.
• Understanding of value-based payment models and culturally competent improvement interventions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior executive and government audiences.

Nice to have

• Ohio residency or residence within driving distance to Columbus.
• Associate's degree in practical nursing, health administration, health policy, or business, or equivalent experience.
• CPHQ certification.
• Knowledge of IHI improvement methods, FMEA, KDD, workflows, diagrams, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of hirify.global's internal policies, procedures, and systems.
