Backend Engineer (Identity & Access Management)

What you will do

• Architect and build complex, user-facing features across the identity stack, including SSO, OIDC, and SCIM provisioning.
• Own business-critical systems end-to-end, from initial design through to deployment and production reliability.
• Lead incident response and maintain high operational health for authentication and authorization services.
• Collaborate with product teams and engineering peers to solve complex technical challenges.
• Drive technical pragmatism by choosing effective technologies that ensure long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in London or able to work in a hybrid capacity (office attendance twice a week).
• Deep expertise in designing scalable backend systems and distributed architectures using C# and .NET.
• Strong system design skills with experience in high-scale production environments.
• Interest in B2B SaaS identity domains, including security, auditing, and authentication protocols.
• Ability to leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development velocity and focus on high-value architectural decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend development (React/Javascript).
