Associate, Commercial Banking Associate Program - Montreal - Bilingual (Commercial Banking)

What you will do

• Support Commercial Banking Managers with existing client relationships and new financing transactions.
• Prepare financial, industry, client, and prospect analyses for credit submissions, including structuring and documentation.
• Identify business opportunities and financing solutions aligned with client needs and growth targets.
• Participate in client acquisition, relationship management, marketing, outreach, and sales-cycle activities.
• Assist with treasury best practices, cash management solutions, problem solving, and client service.
• Complete structured classroom and on-the-job training in credit structuring, risk assessment, and cash management.

Requirements

• Final year of post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with expected graduation before May 31, 2026.
• Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, valuation techniques, and cash flow analysis.
• Fluency in French and English is required to serve clients in the community.
• Strong written and spoken communication, active listening, relationship-building, research, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Goal-oriented approach with the ability to assess client needs and propose financial or strategic solutions.
• Legal eligibility to work in the specified Canadian location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
