Site Reliability Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office. Work from almost anywhere is available for up to 20 days per year.

Salary: €4,100–€5,000 gross per month, plus applicable short-term and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Manage, scale, and optimize production-grade Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Design and maintain GitOps-based application delivery pipelines with ArgoCD.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and OpenTofu.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch.
• Participate in on-call rotations and blameless post-mortems while automating operational work.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve onboarding and the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes workloads, ingress controllers, storage, and networking.
• Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting ArgoCD and implementing GitOps workflows at scale.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Go or Python and strong Bash scripting skills.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, Docker or containerd, DNS, TCP/IP, and core networking concepts.
• Ability to work from Vilnius, Lithuania with at least 3 office days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms with tools such as Backstage.
• Familiarity with Istio or Linkerd service meshes.
• CKA or CKS certification.
