Sr Software Engineer Phyton (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and document embedded system software for new and existing medical products.
• Write and maintain software design documentation and testing requirements.
• Ensure software activities comply with company policies and medical product requirements.
• Integrate, debug, and test systems with software, QA, and hardware engineers.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to meet technical, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.
• Participate in product design reviews and contribute to technical initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a relevant master’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++ and hands-on embedded systems experience.
• Experience with ARM, TI, MSP, or similar embedded processors and microcontrollers.
• Ability to serve as a technical lead and direct development efforts involving internal and external team members.
• Knowledge of software design, operating system concepts, threading, deadlocks, mutual exclusion, and interrupt services.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Python development and AI-driven solutions, data analysis, or intelligent systems experience.
• Knowledge of I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, USB, wireless protocols, or Bluetooth Low Energy.
• Experience with RTOS, real-time systems, object-oriented programming, Agile development, or medical devices.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and communication systems.
