Embedded Linux Engineer (Robotics & Autonomous Machines)

Location: Hybrid, 3 days in the Guadalajara office and 2 days working from home. Office: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico.

Salary: MXN 41,041.67–77,000 per month.

What you will do

• Bring up NVIDIA Jetson modules and develop board support packages, including kernel, device tree, drivers, and boot flow.
• Build and tune embedded Linux images using Yocto, JetPack, and L4T for customer platforms.
• Integrate robotics and perception systems with ROS 2, camera and sensor pipelines, CAN, and real-time control.
• Deploy and optimize edge AI inference with model deployment and TensorRT tuning.
• Manage thermal and power budgets on constrained platforms.
• Prototype reference designs and support customers in moving them from development to volume production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, AI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of embedded Linux experience with C/C++, Python, kernel-level debugging, and driver-level debugging.
• Hands-on experience with ARM SoCs and single-board computers.
• Experience with Yocto or Buildroot.
• Exposure to ROS or ROS 2, computer vision, CUDA, TensorRT, real-time control, or motor drives.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers and debug hardware that does not boot.
