Senior UI Engineer (Game Development)

Location: UK Remote or London, Bromley (on-site)

hirify.global is recruiting for a London-based AAA game development studio through the Space Rangers team.

What you will do

• Translate UI designs into the technical components required to build game interfaces.
• Design and implement robust, performant UI frameworks and specialised UI widgets.
• Collaborate with UI specialists and other development disciplines to deliver quality player experiences.
• Plan and estimate individual and team work in line with product specifications and project milestones.
• Communicate technical solutions, present ideas, and support other team members.

Requirements

• Strong background in UI engineering for games, including at least one commercial project delivered from concept through shipping.
• Advanced professional knowledge of C++.
• Practical experience implementing game interfaces within UI engineering teams and following technical best practices.
• Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, time-management, and organisational skills.
• Enthusiasm for game UI and the ability to work autonomously.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine and Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG).
• Experience accommodating a variety of player accessibility needs.
