Data & AI Architect (AI)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia. Hybrid schedule with occasional home office possible.

Salary: Starting base salary of €3,700 per month.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end As-Is and To-Be architectures for data and AI products, platforms, and projects.
• Evaluate architecture options and technology choices against standards, patterns, governance, and approval requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance for data and AI use cases and translate high-level designs into detailed technical specifications.
• Collaborate with product, project, and platform teams to deliver scalable solutions for local and global customers.
• Assess risks, dependencies, downstream impacts, and effort estimates for proposed architecture changes.
• Maintain architecture documentation and contribute to architecture patterns, standards, communities, and review boards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience architecting data and AI solutions.
• Experience with data modelling, including 3rd normal form, data vault, and dimensional modelling.
• Experience with data pipeline tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS Glue.
• Experience with databases and data lakes such as Azure SQL, DB2, Azure Data Lake, Databricks lakehouse, Snowflake, or AWS RDS, as well as Azure and/or AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and excellent English and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of APIs, Power BI, Python, Scala, or SQL.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Knowledge of Terraform, containers, and orchestration platforms such as AKS or EKS.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock Agentcore or Azure AI Foundry.
