Enterprise Architect for AI Cloud Infrastructure (AI Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: Negotiable base salary from €3,100 gross per month, depending on seniority and experience, plus variable pay and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, provision, and operate network infrastructure for the Industrial AI Cloud, including switches, firewalls, routers, and border gateways.
• Manage InfiniBand and Ethernet/RoCE high-speed network fabrics, including UFM, FortiGate firewalls, and Cisco border gateways.
• Coordinate network lifecycle activities such as installations, upgrades, firmware updates, interconnections, and configuration management.
• Develop automation concepts, scripts, and deployment workflows for configuration, release, testing, and infrastructure operations.
• Implement monitoring and observability, support incident and problem management, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, platform, data center, IaaS, PaaS, and AI solution teams; provide customer-facing consulting and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in network installation, maintenance, operations, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of InfiniBand, RoCE, RDMA, low-latency networking, data center routing, BGP, OSPF, ASNs, IP transit, peering, and failover connectivity.
• Experience with Cisco or Juniper routers, firewalls and security, Linux, monitoring, incident detection, and root-cause analysis.
• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with Python or Bash scripting and automation tools including Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Helm, Git, and CI/CD platforms.
• English at B2 level is required. German is an advantage.
