Middle Fullstack Engineer (Kotlin&React)

Location: Poland; work from the European Union region with a work permit required. Occasional visits to the Warsaw office are expected 1–2 days per quarter.

What you will do

• Develop and enhance microservices using Java and Kotlin.
• Design, develop, and modify REST APIs and backend mocks.
• Build React web components, purchase flows, and registration processes.
• Work across backend and frontend areas while adapting to changing project needs.
• Integrate solutions with external business partners and support partner-facing functionality.
• Deliver new features and continuously improve the product and technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Good knowledge of Java and Kotlin, with practical experience in microservice architecture.
• Hands-on experience with React, modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Willingness to work across backend and frontend development and switch between technological areas.
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• English at minimum B2, Polish at minimum B1, and the right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• Docker and CI/CD experience, particularly with GitLab CI.
• Experience with cloud environments and external partner system integrations.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and Responsive Web Design.
• Experience applying GenAI through structured SDLC workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations.
• Interest in agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development.
