Software Development Engineer IV (React Native)

Salary: $135,600–$230,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale React Native applications for iOS and Android.
• Build shared mobile frameworks, reusable components, design systems, and platform capabilities.
• Design for scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and application reliability.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, GraphQL services, authentication platforms, and cloud services.
• Drive CI/CD, automated testing, release automation, observability, monitoring, and crash analytics.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, mentor engineers, and influence mobile architecture strategy and platform roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience and 5+ years developing React Native applications in production.
• Experience supporting applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, and modern mobile application architecture patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, backend integrations, mobile testing frameworks, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable, maintainable, performant solutions and provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Nice to have

• Native mobile development experience with Swift or Kotlin.
• Experience with GraphQL, OAuth, OpenID Connect, secure authentication, and mobile security practices.
• Experience with Azure, cloud-native architectures, observability, crash reporting, and application monitoring.
• Experience with App Store and Google Play release processes, accessibility, and responsive mobile design.
• Healthcare, insurance, regulated-industry, or AI-assisted development tool experience.
