Lead Data Analyst (Research)

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy business intelligence solutions supporting research performance analysis.
• Provide analysis that supports university strategy and strategic decision-making.
• Support institutional readiness for external research assessment exercises, including the Research Excellence Framework.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Faculties and Professional Services.
• Influence direction, challenge existing approaches, and facilitate adoption of new analytical services.
• Work in partnership with the Research Committee and the Directorate of Research and Business Engagement.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing, building, and deploying business intelligence in higher education.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence, challenge, and demonstrate the value of business intelligence.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational capabilities to support project delivery.
• Passion for data, with a curious, conscientious, and customer-focused approach.
• Right to work in the UK is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.
