SAP BTP Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid; offices in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, and Nis, within the Balkans

What you will do

• Design, develop, and manage integrations using SAP Integration Suite between SAP Cloud solutions, including S/4HANA Cloud and SuccessFactors, and cloud or on-premise systems.
• Develop and maintain applications with SAP CAP, Fiori, SAPUI5, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
• Implement integrations using HTTP, OData, SOAP, REST, IDoc, and SFTP protocols.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, product owners, and software engineers to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Ensure technical integrity, delivery quality, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, and Groovy.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP CAP, Fiori, and SAPUI5.
• Knowledge of SAP data models and data services, especially CDS Views and OData services.
• Experience with database design and data modeling using SAP HANA or enterprise databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA Cloud with enterprise systems and implementing cloud-to-on-premise integrations.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• SAP BTP certifications.
• Experience with SAP AI, SAP Joule, generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, or MCP servers.
• Experience with SAP Build Apps, SAP Work Zone, non-SAP integration platforms, or DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, SAP Kyma, or other containerization technologies.
