MSAT Scientist (Biologics)

What you will do

• Support technology transfer of biologics drug substance processes from development to large-scale GMP manufacturing.
• Provide scientific and on-floor support during process performance qualification and initial manufacturing campaigns.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on yield, robustness, cost-effectiveness, and GMP implementation.
• Trend key process parameters and quality attributes and develop data-driven recommendations using statistical tools.
• Design and document technical studies, protocols, reports, and lifecycle management activities.
• Contribute to manufacturing deviation investigations and translate small-scale laboratory findings into manufacturing-scale strategies.

Requirements

• PhD in Life Sciences with at least 3 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in process development or MSAT-like roles.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and/or downstream purification at laboratory or manufacturing scale.
• Good understanding of GMP and experience with statistical and data-trending techniques.
• Fluent English and the ability to communicate clearly with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend manufacturing activities and work across laboratory and plant environments.
• Strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder-management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with JMP, Statistica, Matlab, Simca, or equivalent tools.
• Previous GMP or MSAT experience.
