Internship: Lab Assistant R&D; Chocolate R&D

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global HQ in Groot-Bijgaarden and hirify.global Erembodegem, Belgium

An international Belgian family business developing, producing, and distributing ingredients for the bakery, patisserie, and chocolate sectors.

What you will do

• Execute laboratory, pilot, application, and sensory trials for chocolate, compound chocolate, and fillings.
• Organize analytical, texture, and sensory measurements on pure products and applications.
• Record and analyze test results.
• Prepare trial reports with conclusions and interpretations.

Requirements

• Be a Bachelor student in food or dietary science, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
• Hold valid work and residence authorization allowing employment in Belgium.
• English proficiency is required because English is the working language.
• The internship takes place onsite in Belgium from August to September 2026.
