Senior Fullstack Developer (Python/React)

Location: Hybrid work twice a week in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal. Lisbon-based candidates must travel to Porto 2–3 days per week during the 1–1.5-month onboarding period and at least once a month afterward.

What you will do

• Design and develop web applications using Python on the backend and React on the frontend.
• Translate complex functional requirements into structured technical designs.
• Design software architectures, solution structures, and data models with attention to security and performance.
• Review AI-generated code for logic errors, memory issues, performance problems, and anti-patterns.
• Design database schemas and optimize complex aggregating SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot Linux environments and support automated deployment workflows and pipelines.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of professional software engineering experience.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent IT background.
• Strong experience with Python, React, software architecture, solution design, SQL, Linux, DevOps practices, and Git workflows.
• Proven experience using AI tools and developer-focused LLMs to design, draft, and document software systems.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level is required.
• Must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

• Experience with XLRelease and XLDeploy.
• French language skills.
