Technology Data Solutions Engineer - Vice President (Fullstack)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; office four days per week with remote work available on Fridays

What you will do

• Develop new features and enhancements for hirify.global software platforms using TypeScript on the frontend and Python on the backend.
• Resolve defects and address issues identified during manual testing.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.
• Work with Product Management to detail requirements and review work in progress.
• Take part in daily stand-ups and peer code reviews within the standard software development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to collaborative software development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 7+ years of Python development experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on TypeScript experience.
• Strong understanding of system design, architecture, trade-offs, relational databases, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and AWS.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in an Agile/Kanban methodology, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
