Senior Fullstack Developer (Python/React)

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

hirify.global provides technology services for a project in the business investment banking and financial services sector.

What you will do

• Translate complex functional requirements into structured technical designs.
• Structure web applications and model data with attention to security and performance.
• Review Python backend and React frontend code, including AI-generated code, for logic errors, memory issues, performance problems, and anti-patterns.
• Design database schemas and optimize complex aggregating SQL queries.
• Use Linux commands and environments to troubleshoot logs, processes, and system issues.
• Support DevOps practices, automated deployment workflows, pipelines, and Git-based development.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent IT background.
• 6–9 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in software architecture, web application structure, data modeling, security, and performance.
• Technical knowledge of Python, React, SQL, Linux, DevOps practices, automated deployment workflows, and Git.
• English at professional working proficiency, B2/C1 level, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with XLRelease and XLDeploy.
• Professional working proficiency in French.
