Senior COBOL CICS Developer (Mainframe)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex COBOL and CICS applications.
• Build scalable, high-performing software supporting essential business operations.
• Investigate technical issues and improve application performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
• Integrate new functionality into established enterprise platforms and produce technical documentation.
• Work with Business Analysts, client stakeholders, development teams, Project Managers, and QA teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, support planning and estimation, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise mainframe applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, SQL, MQ, and Easytrieve.
• Deep understanding of mainframe environments and associated technologies.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Proven experience delivering and supporting complex, business-critical applications.
