Lead Backend Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end stack for factory testing, traceability, and process control.
• Build robust, scalable AWS tooling to manage factory data flow.
• Set standards for quality, security, observability, and release processes.
• Shape the technical roadmap and make architectural decisions as production volume grows.
• Lead and mentor engineers through hands-on work and technical influence.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and shipping complex production systems.
• Strong hands-on AWS design and implementation skills.
• Solid backend and data engineering expertise using Go or Python, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Experience with infrastructure tooling including Terraform, CI/CD, and observability.
• Technical leadership experience in setting direction and growing engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing test or operations, including production lines, hardware testing, or SPC.
