Senior Data Engineer (IAM)

Location: Singapore; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Ingest and prepare authentication, authorization, MFA, session, directory, SAML, OIDC, and OAuth telemetry for analysis and modeling.
• Build and evaluate baseline models for anomaly detection, user/entity behavior analytics, and risk scoring.
• Run exploratory analysis and A/B tests to improve adaptive journeys, MFA step-ups, security, and user experience.
• Engineer reproducible features, versioned datasets, notebooks, documentation, and dashboards.
• Package analyses and models for production using Docker, virtual machines, CI/CD, canary rollouts, and monitoring.
• Partner with IAM and Release Engineering teams to improve risk-based access, session controls, service reliability, and SLO/SLA performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree.
• 1–3 years of experience applying Python and SQL to real datasets, with a solid foundation in statistics and hypothesis testing.
• Hands-on experience with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, exploratory data analysis, supervised learning, anomaly detection, and model evaluation.
• Knowledge of IAM concepts and standards including SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, MFA, JWT, and session management.
• Exposure to Git, CI/CD, Docker, safe rollout patterns, data and model monitoring, dashboards, and alerting.
• Awareness of privacy-by-design, data minimization, pseudonymization, GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, and security analytics.

Nice to have

• Experience with ForgeRock AM/DS telemetry, IAM-adjacent data, or security analytics.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark, Databricks, Kafka, streaming concepts, Splunk, Elastic/Kibana, or Grafana.
• Experience with reusable Python modules, unit tests, Linux shell scripting, model registries, or experiment tracking.
• Interest or experience in safe human-in-the-loop agentic AI for log triage, feature suggestions, and experiment proposals.
