Director, Commercial Development Oligonucleotides

What you will do

• Lead the development and commercialization of the oligonucleotide service offering and growth strategy.
• Execute commercial strategy to increase market penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Act as the scientific and technical subject matter expert in customer engagements, conferences, and strategic discussions.
• Partner with Marketing on technical content, value propositions, and thought leadership materials.
• Identify market opportunities, competitive differentiators, and emerging industry trends.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Site Leadership, R&D, Portfolio Management, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in CDMO, biopharmaceutical, or life sciences industries with commercial or business development responsibilities.
• Expertise in oligonucleotide development, manufacturing, or commercialization.
• Strong strategic thinking, program management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence and lead within complex matrix organizations and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills with executive-level presence; willingness to travel approximately 40%.
