Audit Manager, AML/ATF 1LOD

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Conduct risk-based audits related to AML/ATF business lines and operations.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls against regulatory risks.
• Identify and communicate control weaknesses and inefficiencies to business line management.
• Review corrective action plan artifacts and determine whether they remediate identified risks.
• Manage multiple audit assignments across different stages of the audit cycle.
• Collaborate with audit clients, business partners, and team members to complete engagements on time.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of Canadian AML and sanctions regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of AML and sanctions processes related to banking products and services.
• Experience working in or closely supporting first-line business teams or second-line AML functions.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, investigation, and written communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate internal controls, risk mitigation, and operating effectiveness.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified Canadian location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
