Senior Product Portfolio Manager (Smart Hardware)

Location: Hybrid role based at the headquarters in Tampere, Finland, with at least 3 days per week in the office. The role includes approximately 50 days of global travel per year.

What you will do

• Define long-term product line positioning, portfolio architecture, strategic roadmaps, and global market coverage.
• Build business cases and guide R&D capital and engineering resource allocation across product lines.
• Integrate physical design, hardware, and smart software features into a cohesive workspace product ecosystem.
• Lead value propositions, positioning, pricing, and global go-to-market execution with Marketing.
• Govern product launches, continuous enhancements, portfolio health, and legacy product end-of-life strategies.
• Influence Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders while mentoring Product Managers and Product Engineers.

Requirements

• Progressive product management experience, including significant experience with multi-product portfolios, complex product lines, or platform architectures.
• Experience with global physical products, premium design, consumer electronics, or smart hardware ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of product design, ergonomics, craftsmanship, and user experience.
• Financial acumen, including financial modeling, aggregate P&L optimization, and ROI evaluation across product categories.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Design, or an equivalent field.
