TL;DR
Product Owner, Simulation Platform (Engineering Simulation): Leading the vision, roadmap, lifecycle, and development of a simulation platform with an accent on simulation workflows, platform performance, integrations, data governance, and stakeholder alignment. Focus on translating complex engineering needs into testable requirements, coordinating delivery across virtual teams, and driving releases, adoption, security, and continuous improvement.
Location: Hyvinkää, Finland. Hybrid work with a minimum of three office days per week.

What you will do
- Own and communicate the simulation platform vision, roadmap, backlog, and lifecycle plan.
- Prioritize demand based on business value, user impact, cost, risk, dependencies, and feasibility.
- Translate engineering and stakeholder needs into requirements, acceptance criteria, and release goals.
- Guide platform work from discovery through validation, release, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee platform performance, integrations, upgrades, support, security, compliance, technical debt, simulation data, licenses, and vendor services.
- Align engineering, simulation, IT, architecture, vendors, and business stakeholders while developing the key-user network and improving guidance, training, and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in product ownership, product management, development, or lifecycle management of simulation platforms, engineering applications, or comparable technical services.
- Practical understanding of engineering simulation workflows and digital simulation environments, such as digital twins, HIL, structural simulations, or system simulations.
- Experience managing technical platforms, including integrations, releases, support, risk, and continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, structured problem-solving, and cross-team coordination skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English; ability to coordinate delivery across virtual and multicultural teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, scripting, automation, or simulation-data management.
- Knowledge of agile delivery, service or vendor management, software licenses, platform architecture, observability, access control, or information security.
