What you will do

  • Actively manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate appropriate, timely treatment.
  • Support injured workers through person-centred case management and promote early return-to-work outcomes.
  • Ensure compensation entitlements are provided in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013.
  • Liaise with injured workers, employers, medical and paramedical practitioners, and legal practitioners.
  • Facilitate medical management, return-to-work planning, and sustainable claims outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, reasoning, planning, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to manage timeframes, work across multiple technology platforms, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with workers, employers, medical, paramedical, and legal practitioners.
  • Ability to work within a team in an office-based environment.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
