Sr Manager Business Planning (Finance)

Salary: $147,050–$230,850 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States of America candidates.

What you will do

• Provide thought leadership and manage complex, time-sensitive requests across business functions and partner teams.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and performance drivers.
• Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting, forecasting, and decision deliverables.
• Develop annual budgets, long-term forecasts, financial models, scenario analyses, and investment analyses.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances, and assess financial risks and opportunities.
• Improve financial planning and analysis processes, collaborate with Finance, HR, and Operations, and coach managers and senior individual contributors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a management role and in financial analysis, planning, or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and produce actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial performance drivers.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to change.
