What you will do

• Analyze technology trends, threat trends, and end-user needs to shape security research and product roadmaps.
• Develop hardware and firmware security architectures for future endpoint devices.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate feasibility and reduce technical risk.
• Document architectures and technical designs.
• Validate security use cases with end-users and business partners.
• Collaborate with systems security research engineers and hirify.global business-unit technologists on innovation roadmaps.

Requirements

• Experience with hardware and firmware technologies, including x86, ARM, UEFI, PCIe, and DMA.
• Knowledge of computer architecture and strong engineering skills.
• Ability to analyze and model threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations.
• Ability to survey and articulate technology and threat trends.
• Knowledge of or interest in endpoint security.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of systems security and enterprise IT device and security management.
• Knowledge of OS kernel and hypervisor security.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
