Manager, Product Security (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA; hybrid in-office policy with four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office.

Salary: $152,000–$210,000 base annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead a team focused on cloud, application, and AI security across product surfaces.
• Own the security posture of cloud infrastructure, application systems, and AI-enabled applications.
• Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to embed security into system design and development workflows.
• Define strategies, guardrails, and secure design patterns for cloud-native architectures and safe AI adoption.
• Build scalable controls and automation for identity, access, encryption, secure SDLC, and vulnerability management.
• Lead security incident response efforts involving cloud, application, and AI risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, including significant cloud and application security experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing or leading security engineers.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, Infrastructure as Code, and modern infrastructure patterns.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, WAF, and CNAPP tooling.
• Experience securing applications handling sensitive or regulated data.
• Experience securing or evaluating AI/ML systems, strong technical judgment, and the ability to communicate security risks as business impact.
