Sales Commission Analyst

Location: Remote in Canada or the U.S.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Calculate and process commission payouts accurately and on schedule each pay cycle.
• Own commission plan mechanics, including calculations, tiers, accelerators, spreadsheets, and supporting systems.
• Query and reconcile data across systems to validate commissionable revenue and investigate payout discrepancies.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations on new and updated compensation plans.
• Answer representative commission questions with clear written explanations.
• Build and maintain commission tracking tools and dashboards for representatives and managers.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in FP&A, sales operations, commissions or compensation, analytics, or a comparable analytical role.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including building and auditing complex multi-tab models.
• Working SQL skills for pulling and reconciling data across sources.
• Ability to translate compensation plan documentation into accurate calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable written communication.
• Ability to own commission cycles or plan rollouts from start to finish with minimal oversight.
