Senior Director, Integration & Yield – 200mm (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Essex Junction, Vermont, United States; onsite semiconductor manufacturing facility

Salary: $198,000–$333,000 per year; exact salary depends on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Lead integration and yield strategy across the 200mm fab, including yield roadmaps, cross-module integration, and end-to-end performance optimization.
• Drive yield improvement through data analytics, statistical methods, KPI governance, root cause analysis, and structured problem solving.
• Lead process and electrical characterization, technology integration, new product introduction, qualification, and technology transfer activities.
• Own contamination-free manufacturing, metrology, inspection, defect detection, inline monitoring, and process control capabilities.
• Partner with global engineering, product, equipment, manufacturing, and customer teams to resolve complex technical and yield challenges.
• Build and lead integration, characterization, CFM, and metrology organizations while developing technical depth, leadership capability, and succession plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or technology development, including 5+ years leading integration, yield, or process engineering organizations.
• Deep expertise in semiconductor process integration, device physics, and yield engineering.
• Strong experience with yield improvement methodologies, defect reduction, and statistical process control.
• Proven success driving yield improvement and resolving complex manufacturing issues in a fab environment.
• Strong understanding of characterization, failure analysis, and reliability methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across process, equipment, and manufacturing teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving approach with data-driven decision making, plus the ability to operate in a matrixed global organization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders and customers; proven ability to lead change and align diverse teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in 200mm semiconductor manufacturing.
• Background in specialty technologies such as GaN, RF, analog, power, or automotive.
• Experience supporting technology transfer across global fabs.
