Security Administration Specialist II (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year plus annual target bonus

What you will do

• Process user access and provisioning requests across multiple systems in line with SLAs, security policies, and least-privilege principles.
• Support onboarding, transfers, and terminations by assessing the business purpose, risk, and impact of access requests.
• Investigate and resolve access incidents and provisioning issues through security support channels.
• Coordinate with Security Coordinators, Application Owners, and Data Owners to validate and fulfill requests.
• Maintain operational documentation and knowledge-base content while supporting current security controls.
• Identify workflow improvements, analyze recurring issues, and contribute to automation initiatives using scripting and technical tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in Information Security, Identity and Access Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Active Directory, ServiceNow, RBAC models, and IAM platforms such as SailPoint or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and VBA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while supporting global operations, periodic shift adjustments, on-call rotation, and alternate schedules.

Nice to have

• Scripting or programming experience with PowerShell, Python, SQL, or Java.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+ or CISSP.
