Space & Merchandising Consultant (Retail)

Location: EMEA Central Customer Operations; occasional travel across Europe and potentially globally.

What you will do

• Deliver customer software implementation projects independently through all project lifecycle phases.
• Understand customer use cases and translate requirements into platform configurations and best-practice solutions.
• Configure RELEX modules for space, assortment, pricing, and promotion planning.
• Solve complex problems, validate customer data, and ensure measurable customer business benefits.
• Train customers and act as the subject matter expert for space optimization, automation, pricing, and promotions.
• Collaborate with customer teams, technical teams, and project managers.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Space Planner or in Space Planning Solutions.
• Structured, analytical, and problem-solving approach.
• Ability to map customer requirements and translate them into software configuration.
• Confident communication with customer teams and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with people from different backgrounds and adapt to changing environments.
• Working proficiency in English; the role involves supporting English- and German-speaking customers.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Category Management experience.
• M.Sc. or higher.
• Experience as an Implementation Specialist, Business Consultant, or similar retail-focused role.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process design, training, and user testing support.
