Veterinary Nurse (Veterinary Care)

Location: Multiple clinics across the Sunshine Coast region, Australia, including Caloundra, Kawana Waters, Maroochydore, and potentially Noosa. A current driver's licence, reliable transport, and willingness to travel between clinic locations are required.

What you will do

• Provide nursing support during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, procedures, and urgent or emergency presentations.
• Prepare patients for surgery, assist in theatre, monitor anaesthesia, and support recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments, collect blood samples, and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide hospital and inpatient nursing care while maintaining patient records and treatment plans.
• Communicate with clients, provide education, and support reception or administrative duties when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and high standards of patient care across different clinic workflows.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Confidence in medical, surgical, and hospital nursing, including anaesthetic monitoring.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and quickly adapt to different clinic teams and workflows.
• Strong communication, customer service, organisation, reliability, and professionalism.
• Current driver's licence, reliable transport, and willingness to travel between Sunshine Coast clinics.
