Senior / Staff Fullstack Developer (Java)

Location: Berlin, Germany; 80% office presence and 20% mobile working

hirify.global builds the technical foundation for premium subscription products across multiple media brands, including acquisition, checkout, payments, entitlements, and partner integrations.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the Authentication & Profile domain, covering account creation, login, registration, single sign-on, profile data, and secure user-data access.
• Design, build, and operate scalable full-stack services serving millions of users across multiple brand products and channels.
• Improve security, user experience, performance, maintainability, reliability, and data protection across identity services.
• Design APIs, service architectures, frontend integrations, and data-access patterns for the multi-brand ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, data, and business stakeholders to deliver pragmatic technical solutions.
• Build and operate AWS cloud-native infrastructure with serverless architecture, CI/CD, observability, infrastructure automation, and production ownership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture expertise.
• Strong production experience with Java, ideally combined with TypeScript and modern web technologies.
• Deep AWS experience, particularly with AWS Lambda, serverless architectures, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation.
• Solid knowledge of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, security, resilience, and highly available web applications.
• Experience with authentication, identity, single sign-on, user profiles, secure data access, privacy, or security-sensitive products.
• Strong English and German communication skills are required. Confident AI tool usage and the ability to work across backend services, frontend integrations, and user-facing flows are also expected.
