What you will do

• Write, test, and debug software, focusing on complex and critical components.
• Participate in design and code reviews and collaborate on project requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and support as a subject matter expert.
• Research and propose solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Define software requirements and specifications and troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
• Assess new technologies and best practices while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar software engineering role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and familiarity with development methodologies.
• Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications or training.
