What you will do
- Partner with business leaders, Sales, and Marketing teams to provide financial insights for strategic and operational decisions.
- Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting routines and improve forecasting models and analytical processes.
- Drive financial analysis for pricing, customer trading terms, promotions, portfolio mix, distribution, and channel expansion.
- Deliver management reporting, KPI dashboards, variance analysis, budgeting, reforecasting, and operating expense tracking.
- Conduct ROI assessments, scenario modelling, sensitivity analyses, and business case evaluations for investments and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strengthen financial processes, compliance, internal controls, data accuracy, and financial literacy across the organization.
Requirements
- Working proficiency in Japanese and English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of finance experience, ideally in CPG/FMCG or a commercial environment.
- Strong experience in forecasting, budgeting, expense tracking, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP or Power BI.
- Experience supporting Sales and Marketing teams in a commercial environment.
