TL;DR
Test Automation Engineer (Java): Designing and maintaining automated testing solutions for enterprise applications with an accent on integration testing, regression testing, API integrations, and data validation. Focus on building scalable test frameworks, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and identifying quality risks across the software development lifecycle.
Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office, or 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

What you will do
- Design test automation strategies, plans, and test cases for integration and regression testing.
- Develop and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks, tools, and environments in Java.
- Execute SQL scripts for data validation and test data preparation.
- Analyze requirements, define automated test scenarios, run tests, and evaluate results.
- Implement API integrations between testing, defect management, and source control tools.
- Assess testing risks, report quality metrics and defect status, and support continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in test automation and related tools.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, system integration, regression, administration, and implementation.
- Experience with SDLC standards, automation best practices, and Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Programming and scripting experience with Java and REST APIs.
