Verification Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Debug and validate software products through systematic testing.
• Develop, modify, and execute automated test scripts, test cases, and testing tools.
• Evaluate scenarios for automation in Python and expand the regression suite.
• Program components of the Python framework, including simulators for network protocols or components when needed.
• Analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with development engineers to resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews, the testing guild, and software release procedures.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with pytest is beneficial.
• Knowledge of scripting with Bash or Shell.
• Experience testing backend software.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in telecommunications or the 5G Core domain.
• Understanding of networking and communication protocols.
• Experience with Wireshark or packet analysis tools.
