Director - Program & Delivery Management

Location: London, Great Britain

Salary: £104,000–£156,000 base salary per year, plus benefits and potential incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and retain a team of Program and Delivery Managers supporting Product and R&D leadership.
• Shape planning frameworks, cadences, standards, and portfolio-level oversight for commitments, capacity, and delivery confidence.
• Establish delivery rhythms, governance models, program reviews, and escalation practices across the organization.
• Manage cross-portfolio dependencies, trade-offs, resourcing conflicts, risks, and blockers through resolution.
• Define the AI strategy for program and delivery management and lead adoption of tools that reduce manual work and improve velocity.
• Own delivery metrics and executive reporting while driving systemic improvements to planning, estimation, and delivery practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Delivery Management, or Engineering Program Management.
• 4+ years leading a team of program managers within a multi-team Product and R&D organization.
• Experience designing and owning planning and delivery systems at scale in complex product organizations.
• Strong executive communication, analytical skills, and the ability to influence across functions without formal authority.
• Fluency in agile delivery practices and hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.
• Experience leading program managers across multiple geographies and time zones, with a strong interest in applying AI to delivery management.
