Technical Program Manager (Mission Autonomy)

Location: Dallas, Texas; on-site. The role coordinates with distributed engineering teams in Arlington, Virginia, and San Diego, California.

What you will do

• Lead the integration of Hivemind autonomy software onto next-generation aircraft platforms from concept through production and operational deployment.
• Align aircraft engineering, autonomy software, manufacturing, laboratory, ground-test, and flight-test activities.
• Own integrated plans covering scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, budgets, resources, risks, and technical performance.
• Coordinate system integration, readiness reviews, gate reviews, Program Management Reviews, and Estimates at Completion.
• Drive cross-functional technical and programmatic decisions, identify critical-path risks, and remove execution blockers.
• Support technical documentation, customer deliverables, proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and strategic customer engagements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent combinations of advanced education and experience.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional engineering programs from concept through production and operational deployment.
• Strong technical understanding of software-enabled systems, autonomy, aerospace systems, or other complex integrated products.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and technical performance in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Program Management Reviews, gate reviews, and estimates.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating autonomy or software systems onto defense platforms.
• Experience in software development, autonomy development, or systems engineering.
• Experience managing clean-sheet defense or technology development programs.
• PMP or Certified Scrum Master certification.
• Familiarity with DoD contracting, defense acquisition, or national security programs.
