Senior .NET Software Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes)

Location: Hybrid in Mexico City, with office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Reforma office

What you will do

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain .NET backend services, RESTful APIs, and background workers.
• Deploy, configure, scale, and operate services in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure, including observability and resource management.
• Design and document service architectures and inter-service communication patterns across internal platform services.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps teams on roadmaps, API contracts, and technical decisions.
• Conduct code and design reviews while contributing to distributed systems, security, software quality, and CI/CD practices.
• Mentor engineering peers and use AI-driven development tools and coding agents to improve delivery productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on .NET, C#, and current .NET framework versions.
• Production experience building RESTful APIs and background services.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including manifests, workload management, and cluster troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and service-to-service communication.
• Experience with AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor, plus Terraform, Datadog or Grafana, structured logging, and distributed tracing.
