Senior AI Engineer

Location: Austin, TX; onsite four days per week

What you will do

• Build and deploy ML models from prototype through production.
• Own the full lifecycle of complex AI and ML initiatives.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into structured work packages, milestones, and deliverables.
• Build scalable models, pipelines, and infrastructure with engineers, designers, and product teams.
• Improve model accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Apply testing, MLOps, and observability best practices while ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills and deep experience with ML algorithms and model development.
• Proven experience deploying LLM-based applications through API calls to frontier models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini.
• Ability to work independently, lead projects, and engage effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related AI Engineering field.
• Comfort with onsite work in Austin four days per week is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Palantir platform, including AIP, Foundry, or Ontology.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LLMs, Kubernetes, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with a second programming language.
