What you will do

• Analyze functional specifications and coordinate developers across geographies to implement technology solutions.
• Design, develop, integrate, and deploy enterprise applications for life and annuity insurance policy administration systems.
• Build cloud-native solutions and contribute across the software delivery lifecycle, including upgrades and releases.
• Act as a subject matter expert and liaison between technical, business, design, and management stakeholders.
• Gather end-user feedback, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend cost- and time-effective solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, estimates, training, mentoring, and release-lifecycle support in a SAFe Agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least nine years of programming, technical, and architectural experience in the Java ecosystem.
• Hands-on enterprise software development experience with Java and the Spring framework.
• UI/UX development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, React, and responsive web design.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Groovy, shell scripting, RESTful concepts, and AWS or other cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills, plus experience working with business and functional groups.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the life insurance and annuity domain.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams.
