TL;DR
Systems Integration Engineer - Antenna Installation (RF/SATCOM): Installing, integrating, commissioning, and testing remote sensing antenna systems and satellite communications terminals with an accent on mechanical assembly, RF and network interfaces, and customer-site deployment. Focus on troubleshooting complex integration issues, tuning RF systems, configuring remote-control equipment, and supporting installations with frequent travel.

Location: Duluth, Georgia, United States; on-site work at the Duluth facility and customer locations

Salary: $95,000–$149,500 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $117,500–$176,500 annually.

What you will do

  • Lead or support on-site installation, mechanical assembly, alignment, and commissioning of large-scale antenna systems.
  • Integrate cabling, RF components, network interfaces, control systems, and vendor equipment according to technical documentation.
  • Use IDLs, BOMs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and CAD documentation to plan installations and logistics.
  • Set up specialized test equipment and validate, test, and tune antenna and RF systems.
  • Represent hirify.global at customer sites, coordinate installation activities, and resolve integration issues with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare technical reports, improve installation procedures, and provide remote support between site visits.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience installing, integrating, and commissioning RF systems, antenna systems, or satellite communications terminals.
  • Experience with cabling, mechanical assembly, system setup, and field or remote environments.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation documentation using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
  • Strong knowledge of RF, network, and control-system integration, including vendor equipment configuration for remote operations.
  • Experience testing and tuning RF systems, including G/T, EIRP, BERT, and servo controls.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance are required; willingness to travel 60% or more is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SATCOM or remote-sensing RF electronics, including HPAs, converters, and LNAs across S, X, Ka, and Ku bands.
  • Familiarity with RF and control-subsystem testing, calibration, troubleshooting, remote-control interfaces, and satellite antenna network configurations.
