Senior Manager, Directory Engineer (Microsoft Entra ID)

Location: New York City, United States. Hybrid work from the assigned hirify.global office 2–3 days per week or as required by the business. Periodic international and domestic travel of less than 10% may be required.

Annual base salary: $124,400–$207,400 USD, plus a 17.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise directory services strategy, roadmap, governance, and modernization initiatives.
• Oversee the architecture, implementation, optimization, availability, and lifecycle management of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP directories, DNS, Group Policy, PKI integration, and hybrid identity platforms.
• Lead directory consolidation, migration, authentication, and authorization initiatives for business-critical applications and services.
• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud engineering, end-user computing, application, IT, and product teams on secure identity integrations.
• Manage directory-related incidents, vendor relationships, operational improvements, and performance and security reporting.
• Ensure directory services align with GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, SOX, GXP, and other applicable security and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 6+ years of identity and access management experience, including at least 4 years focused on directory solutions.
• Experience supporting directory environments with more than 50,000 users and leading IAM engineering, support, or operations teams.
• Deep knowledge of LDAP/LDAPS, directory schemas, replication, GPOs, PKI, Microsoft Active Directory, AD LDS, and Azure AD.
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols, encryption, tokenization, secure protocols, and IAM security practices.
• Must have permanent U.S. work authorization; U.S. visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
